     Title: Who is your ancestor?
God created - or evolution did it?

The Creationists have started seeking foothold in Europe. Europeans have long viewed the conflict between evolutionists and creationists as primarily an American phenomenon, but it has recently jumped the Atlantic Ocean with skirmishes in Italy, Germany, Poland and, notably, Britain, where Darwin was born and where he published his 1859 classic.

We could well say, that the world as we know it, grew millions of years older in an hour, when the Darwin "theology" was first expressed. But is it only a question of science there? On the contrary.

The first verse of the Holy Bible states: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Gen. 1:1). If somebody was, say, against God and His spoken Word, questioning that verse succesfully with anything containing the message, "Yea, hath God said?" (Gen. 3:1), and that adversary has made it: no foundation for any verses existing no more either.

We now hear almost daily, how scientists are near to create life out of "nothing" and that they have, in their opinion, more or less already succeeded with their task. And of that we can be 100% sure, that when it would really happen, the world would hear no news but that one.

But, that Adversary, already mentioned, is no creator. He is an imitator. So when God created man in his own image (Gen. 1:27), Satan tried to imitate everything to the full. And he has been doing it for a long time. Remember, when in Eqypt, the magicians could "follow" Moses in every of the miracles he performed in the power of God. But then Aaron did something, where the magicians had to give up, saying unto Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God": "And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not". (Ex. 8:16-18)

What was so significant in that particular miracle? Why couldn't the magi do it?

We can answer that question best by setting another question, "What was made out of dust?". Us.

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (Gen. 2:7).

And talk about foundation! We are really dealing with an issue, where our entire society either stands - or not. A. J. Higgins wrote so well: "Consider first that the very first relationship which man enjoyed, after his relationship with his Creator, was that of a wife. Prior to friendships, business acquaintances, siblings, or others, he related to a woman as his wife. Some may cavil and say that this was required before others could exist and other relationships begin. But God has chosen to make this the primal relationship to underline its special nature. It is the foundation of a society... When God decreed that it was not good for man to be alone, what did He do for him? He did not make another man. He did not even make several women. He made a woman for Adam. One man and one woman - God’s definition of a marriage. God made man for woman, and woman for man. There were no "spare" women for Adam to move amongst. As well, God brought the woman to the man, serving as the one Who introduced them and intended for them to be united (Gen 2:22). The word of God does not sanction a marriage between the same gender."

However, if we start walking "this way" of ruining the basement of our world, then we better walk all the way. If the ape is our ancestor, shouldn't we be releasing, and immediately, our brethren from prisons?!

Don't laugh - these people are dead serious! And then, if we go one bit further back in time, we end up in a situation, when watching our lunch plate: "Am I doing a murder here - eating somebody on his way to evolve into a human being?"

Little children, the next time your teacher shows you a picture of an ape, stating, "See, your ancestor!", raise up and say boldly: "That's nothing but an ape - and no more it will never be. God created me in His own image, you blasphemer!".

And God will bless you, my child. For, "if any man serve me, him will my Father honour " (John 12:26).
